Keith E. Dey, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in Urbandale. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016, at McLaren’s Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
Keith was born January 7, 1939 in Indianola to Delbert and Helen Dey. He graduated from Des Moines Tech High School in 1958. Keith worked as a salesman for Huttig Sash and Door and was a member of the Lions Club and the First Baptist Church in Johnston. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, boating, playing guitar, word search puzzles and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.
Keith is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Dey; two daughters, Denise (Bill) Toye and Diane (George) Kueny; four grandchildren, Lynnea (Craig) Davis, Keith Toye, Adam Kueny and Natalie Kueny; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Larry (Kathy) Dey and Dick (Sherry) Dey. He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Eva Irwin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McLaren’s Chapel in West Des Moines. Memorial contributions may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice.
