Dorothy Gene Neal of Waukee, Iowa, age 88, passed away peacefully June 4, 2024. Gene was born in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Richard and Margaret Beaty; and lived in the Des Moines area most of her life.
She will be remembered by her sons Dave and Doug (Cindy); daughters Carol and Kelly; grandchildren Nick (Mala), Ashley (Larry), Erik (Cassey) and Ben (Taylor); and great-grandchildren Addyson, Caleb, Kairi and Elliot.
Gene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; and sister, Kathi.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
