Rosa Elia Salinas, 79, left to be with the Lord on Friday, October 28, 2022 at her residence in Weslaco. She was born to Jose de Jesus and Teresa Aguilar on July 4, 1943 in Ramirez, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Rosa is now reunited with her parents, Jose de Jesus and Teresa Aguilar and sister, Graciela Villarreal; who have preceded her in death.
She will be remembered for her love to sing and dance, bake and cook. Rosa enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids and loved to look after her puppies. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband: Delfino Salinas Hernandez; children: Leda Wendy (Eliseo) Serrato, Delfino (Betty) Salinas Jr., Carlos (Elida) Salinas, Rosa Elia (Manuel) Escobedo, Iliana (Jesse) Gomez III and Eddy (Erica Rose) Salinas. She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Erica Lizette, Ayesa Yamila, Cassandra Lizbette, Tatiyana Isryl, Brandi, Eddy Jr, Talyssa Ileen, Beyonce Aveli, Delfino III, Jesse Stone, Vito Gabriel, Carlos Jr, and great-grandson: D'Angelo Carter.
Family will receive friends Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11 am to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Highland in Weslaco. Funeral service will be held at 11 am, Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Funeraria del Angel Highland, interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
