It is with a profound sadness that the family of Robert Ybarra (Bobby) announce his passing at the age of 56. Robert was born in Roma, Texas on October 25th, 1963 to Mary Y. Gomez and Roberto Ybarra(+). He was raised in Coachella, California and became a longtime resident of Elsa, Texas since 1989.
Robert will forever be loved and remembered by his wife of 33 years, Mary; his sons Roberto Enrique (Janiss), Anthony Nicolas (Enjolee), and daughter Vanessa Junet Britton (Timothy). Robert will also be greatly missed by his precious grandchildren; Shelene and Kaison Ybarra; his mother Mary Y. Gomez; his in-laws Anastacio and Esperanza Vargas; his brother Manuel (Tara), his sisters Elda (Tony), Perla (Joey), Edna, Andrea (Javier), Isabel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation Services for Robert will be held Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home located at 6705 N FM 88 in Weslaco, Texas. A Chapel Service will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM followed with the Interment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco, Texas.
