Daniel Joseph Ardoin Sr.

Daniel Joseph Ardoin, Sr. , Age 70, a native & resident of Lacassine was entrusted to God’s loving care on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Daniel was a retired self-employed drilling consultant and also he was a farmer/cattleman. He earned various degrees in Oilfield Consultation, Agricultural Business, & Animal Husbandry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years; Marty Lyford Ardoin of Lacassine; sons, Daniel J. Ardoin, Jr. of DeQuincy, Kirk Ardoin & wife Sherie of Deweyville, TX and Shane Ardoin of Iowa; step-sons, Charles Martin Natali & wife Jodi of Moss Bluff and Nick Alan Natali & wife Turia of Lake Charles; daughters, Sharon Tacker & husband Michael of Arnaudville; step daughter, Kym Condon & husband Scott of Welsh; sister, Nadine Arbaugh & husband Jerry of Nashville, TN; brother-in-law, William “Bill” Lyford and wife Linda of Dunedin, FL; and 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Webster Ardoin & Lorena Comeaux Ardoin; brother, Dr. Charles J. Ardoin; and sister, Velma Jean Primeaux.

Visitation will commence at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. A Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until Christian Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Lake Charles.
