She was born in Arkansas but lived much of her life in Louisiana. The greatest joys of her life were her daughters, her adored sons-in-law, and her grandchildren who meant more than life to her. However, her true joy was her great-granddaughter.
She cherished her many friends who remained close through the years and genuinely loved her time working and volunteering at Lake Charles Memorial.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Mae Coke; her father Elmer Coke; Her brother, Louie Hines; and her brothers-in-law, Leonard Frisby and Ronnie Harrisons.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and husband Mark Daigle, and Lorinda and husband Troy Roberie; her grandson, Sam Daigle; granddaughter, Shelby and husband Lucas Trahan; great-granddaughter, Indie Jane Trahan; sisters, Leilani Frisby and Martha Harrison; as well as her nieces and their husbands.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the kindness and compassion shown by the staff and
physicians at Lake Charles Memorial during this difficult time. As well as the staff at Golden Age of Welsh for the care given during her time as a resident.
A celebration of life will be held at Roanoak Baptist Church (8306 US-90, Roanoke, LA 70581 Hwy 90) on May 06, 2023. Visitation will begin at noon and service will follow at 1:00 pm
