Alice G Hardy

Alice G. Hardy, 89, of Iowa passed away Friday, September 15, 2017. She was born in Jennings, LA in 1928 to the late Euzebe and Emily Gallier. She married the love of her life, Percy Hardy in 1943 and together they had over 60 years of love and laughter until his death in 2004.

Alice is survived by her son; Thomas Hardy and wife Mary, daughters; Patricia Hardy and Jennifer Bertrand, and daughter of her heart; Wanda Fiss, grandchildren; Blake Hardy, Vance Hardy, Holly LaRocca, and Brandon Bertrand, great grandchildren; Alex Hardy, Emily Hardy, Kierstin Colombo, Bria Colombo, Emmy Bertrand, Reese Bertrand, step-grandchild; Dillyn Castillo.

Visitation to be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm with Rosary at 6:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home in Welsh, LA. Visitation will resume Monday, September 18, 2017 at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Iowa at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Lacassine Cemetery.
