Vicki Jeans Anderson

Vicki Jeans Anderson, 59, of Deer Park, TX, lost a courageous and hard fought 6 month battle with brain cancer on Wednesday, January 2, 2013. Vicki was born November 21, 1953 in Houston, TX to Robert & Aline Jeans. She attended M.B. Smiley High School where she graduated Cum Laude in 1972. In 1971 Vicki began what would become a 34 year career with International Grating. Vicki is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Donnie Anderson along with their children; daughter Ashley Anderson of Deer Park, TX; Son Derek Anderson, wife Lisa, grandchildren Jonathan and Olivia of Friendswood, TX; mother Opal Aline Jeans of Pasadena, TX; Gwen McIntyre of New Ulm, TX; and Leslie Hastings of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Jeans. Vicki devoted her life and time to her family and friends; always placing others before herself. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor, elegant style, and nurturing spirit. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 6, from 5-7 PM at Forest Park East. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 8 at 12:30 PM at Central Baptist Church Deer Park. Her husband fought valiantly beside her each and every day and was an advocate for her care all the while praying for a miracle. Donnie and family would like to thank the nurses, staff, and respiratory therapists for the wonderful care they provided Vicki. Her family wishes to thank Donna Radin and family for their daily support. The family would also like to thank the members of the Deer Park Sophomore Football team that held a benefit car wash for Vicki.

Immediately after the graveside service come share memories and laughter with the family at landry’s on the Kemah Boardwalk.
