Tommye Ruth Crager, age 92, of Alvin, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was born in Zavalla, Texas on August 10th, 1932 to L.J. and Ruth Dearmond. She was married to Walter C. Crager Sr. for 65 years. Tommye was a devoted wife and mother, an avid reader, and loved to travel.
Tommye was preceded in death by her parents, L.J. and Ruth Dearmond; brothers, Claudie Dee Dearmond and W.C. Dearmond; sister, Mary Jo Walker; and great-grandsons, Seth Lee Burr and Kiel Jenkins.
She is survived by her son, Walter Crager and wife, Denise; daughter, Clovis C. Molina and husband, James; grandchildren, Eric Molina and Kathy Molina, Kevin Molina, Misty and Don Burr; and her great grandchildren, Evan Morara, Noah Jenkins, Hank Jenkins, Christian Jenkins, Alison Molina, Damien Molina, and Lyla Molina.
A visitation for Tommye will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas. A committal service will occur Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Confederate Cemetery located at 998 Dickinson Rd, Alvin, Texas 77511.
