Savannah’s compassion began to be revealed at a very young age, as she loved taking care of and rescuing any and all animals she could find. Savannah’s summers from second grade through High School were spent at Church Camp, affectionately called “Gonzo” where she served several terms on the Coastal Plains Area Youth Ministry Council. Savannah cherished her time at Gonzo and maintained many of her friendships while continuing to attend retreats and gatherings there throughout her adult life.

She was currently attending the Commonwealth School of Mortuary Science with a graduation date set for May of 2021.
The prides of Savannah’s life were her children William and Mackenzie. She was active in their school and all of their extracurricular activities. She was a loving, devoted, and caring Mom who always put her children’s needs first.
Savannah began her career in Funeral Service one year ago. She loved her work and the people she worked with and was so excited to be actively building her career. Savannah was able to use her compassion, caring, and kind heart to help those who where mourning the loss of their loved ones. She truly believed that God had placed her in this profession and felt it was her calling. Her greatest and most proud moments were when families would thank her for taking care of their loved ones.
Savannah enjoyed quality time with her children, playing card and board games, working jigsaw puzzles, baking, spending time with friends and family, and going to the beach.
Savannah’s friends have described her as kind hearted, compassionate, graceful, a beautiful person inside and out, hard working, easy to talk to, joyful, inclusive, sweet, friendly, full of love and a ray of sunshine. Savannah continues to serve others even in death as an organ and tissue donor.
