Roseanna, also known by Hazel, Grandma, and Mommo, by her friends and family, was a wonderful woman with a loving heart and beautiful soul. She was born in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on December 3, 1937. She met her husband and the love of her life, James E. Flanagan, at the Paramount Movie Theater in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Their love story was an inspiring journey that lasted over half a century and led them to have three children, Donald, Robert, and Dianna. Roseanna enjoyed working in retail and retired from Wal-Mart in 2007. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, doing word search puzzles, and watching science fiction movies. She requested her survivors not grieve for her because she has gone to be with her love of 58 years and reminds them that we will be together again one day. She loved us all so much.
Her survivors include her loving and adoring children, son, Donald E. Flanagan and wife Leta of Dickinson, Texas; son, Robert L. Flanagan and wife Gladys of Galveston, Texas; and daughter Dianna E. Musick and husband Charles of Page, Oklahoma. Also left to cherish her memory are sister-in-law, Irene L. Archer of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and brother-in-law, John A. Flanagan of Galveston, Texas. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Aja Flanagan and husband Juan Gomez, John Flanagan and wife Samantha, Quintin Flanagan, Kelly Price, Bobby Flanagan, Dianna Musick, Charles Musick Jr., John White and wife Alyssa, and Jayme DeLaFuente and husband Diego. She also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Flanagan; parents, Ruth L. and Harry O. McCall; brothers, Jack, Ross, and George McCall; sisters, Lois, Betty, and Peggy McCall, Jennie Cain and Jessie Vanlandingham; grandson, Donald Flanagan Jr.; and great-great-granddaughter, Kendall Lasseter.
