Richard "Rick" Moore Burkhart

Rick graduated from North Canton High School, from Purdue University, and earned his Master’s Degree from Dartmouth.

In 1968 Rick met and married Bonnie Rudolph. They remained married for 54 wonderful years and had one son, Evan.

Rick was a chemical engineer for Exxon for over 40 years. He served as president and director for Clear Lake Bridge Club, played tennis in his younger years, and enjoyed reading. But most of all he loved sailing.

Rick is survived by his loving wife Bonnie Burkhart; son Evan Burkhart of Cleveland, Texas; his sister Joanne Steiner of Bradenton, Florida; his brother Alan Burkhart of Summerville, South Carolina; his brother-in-law Robert “Rudy” Rudolph of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
