age of 67.
She spent time in Massachusetts, where she worked at the State Hospital. She then moved to Florida
and worked at an auto repair shop. She then moved to North Carolina and again worked as a
bookkeeper at an auto repair shop. She eventually moved to Texas City, TX where she briefly worked at
NASA Johnson Space Center and then as an in-home caregiver until she retired.
She had a passion for sewing and quilting and taught classes for both.
She is survived by her brother Randy Gilchrist and his wife Teresa Gilchrist of Texas City, TX, her brother
Kenneth Gilchrist and his wife Teresa Gilchrist of Denton, TX, her other brother David Gilchrist, and her
son Jonathan Pollock of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by
her parents Henry and Jewel Gilchrist and her sister Jeanette Signoriello.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 19, 2022, 4:00pm at Landmark Missionary
Baptist Church, 311 N. Logan Street, Texas City, TX
