Michael De La Rosa, 58 of Pasadena Texas, passed away January 19,2014. He was born in Houston Texas on November 21,1955. He was born to the late Raymond and Eulalia "Lala" De La Rosa. His life partner and companion is Gloria Martinez. Michael had a career in QC Pipe Inspecting at Lee Mitchell Inspections. His numerous passions were fishing, bowling, playing darts, playing pool, playing basketball, and he loved watching the Texans and Rockets games and would CHEER when the "Cowgirls" would lose. He is survived by his daughters Azalea De La Rosa, Laura Almendarez, and Demetria "Ducky" De La Rosa and his son Michael De La Rosa as well as his step-daughters Krystal, Ashley, and Jennifer Martinez. His grandchildren Michael, Samara, Joshua, Isyss, Lincoln, Dominic, Jazmine, Jalyiah, and AnnaLee. His sibling's Raymond Ramirez, Ernest De La Rosa, Maggie Pena, Lydia Sanchez, and Eloy De La Rosa. He is proceeded in death by his parents Raymond and Lala De La Rosa and his brother Frank De La Rosa. Funeral arrangements will be held at 2pm on January 23, 2014 at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
