Mason A. Winfield

Mason A Winfield, 88, of Houston, Texas, passed away on December 3, 2016. He was born in Starkville, Mississippi on March 31, 1928 to David Adler and Clara Winfield. He was married to Beverly Winfield for 53 years. Mason had a career in Administration and worked for Brown & Root Industrial Services. He was a 32nd degree mason for 60 years. He belonged to the Blue Lodge of Starkville, Mississippi and The Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Houston, Texas. He had a passion for college football especially Mississippi State University and Nascar.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Beverly Winfield; children, Danna Hobson and husband Mike, Jeri Jackson, Mason Winfield Jr. and wife Claudia; grandchildren, Lindsay Robeau and husband Adam, Ashley Busby, Jamie Edwards and husband James, Chase Jackson, Cori Jackson, Morgan Westhoff, Camryn Winfield; great grandchildren, Matthew Edwards, Olivia Robeau, Natalie Robeau; niece, Janice Fertitta.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
