Margaret Golden

An Oklahoma native, Margaret moved with her husband Albert Eugene (Gene) Golden to Texas. Margaret was the mother of three children. She always provided support and love for her family. She and Gene worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their kids and she would proudly boast about each of them. Margaret and Gene made sure that their kids knew God’s love. Margaret retired from Sears Roebuck & Co.

Margaret loved to play dominoes and especially ‘42’. She was good at both games but liked the interaction with friends even better. Margaret was well-loved and had many friends. She and Gene served others in their church family as well.

Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 71 years Gene Golden. She missed Gene very much and often talked about their life together. I am certain they are having a grand reunion even now.

She is survived by her children, Michael Golden and his wife Cindy, Randy Golden his wife Louise and Paula Johnson and her husband Tom; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her legacy will continue to live in the lives she touched.

A private family service is being held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Golden family.
