Marc trained me when I started @ TCH 20 years ago 
He did love his Nikes (all colors )one day on the bus back to the garage I asked him how many pairs of Nikes did he own he smile and said I lost count but its a lot. I just laughed. We were co-workers and friends we always talked about our kids
and sports but more about soccer. Marc was a good man and a great friend I will miss him dearly. Marc I know you are with the Lord and we will see you again . Cherry and family my thoughts and prayers are with yall.

I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with Marc for 14 years. He was always helpful and willing to teach me how to operate the AV equipment. We had some great conversations regrading family and life in general. He will be truly missed within the TCH Biomed Family!

Marc is our lunch buddy. We always meet at the pantry almost every lunch time to heat the food.  Always had a joyous teasing about anything. I am very shocked of his sudden passing. He will be sorely missed. My heartfelt condolence to the family.

I worked with Marc for 15 years. He was not only my co-worker, but he was also my friend. During this time, I saw how passionate he was about the Lord and his family. This love showed in his smile and it grew even brighter when he met Cherry. I can recall how he enjoyed talking about of his grandchildren and showing me the pictures of the many projects that were completed with Cherry. We had many discussions about various topics that usually ended in humor. It was also evident that he enjoyed a challenge whether it was working on AV and Nurse Call equipment or applying what he learned about Patient Monitors. His determination and our conversations will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss Marc tremendously. We worked together at Texas Children's for the past 8 years. Marc and I shared many AV trials and tribulations at the Pavilion for Women. When Marc came to help, he was empathetic and committed to solving the problem if it was humanly possible. I know there are many at Texas Children's who are equally grateful for the help and support he always offered.   It was wonderful getting to know Marc - as anyone who knew him can attest, he had a heart of gold. He'd often talk about his family - you were his sunshine! He  loved and enjoyed being with all of you. The last five years seemed to be an especially happy time for him.  Again, I am so sorry for your loss. Marc was truly one of a kind!

I have known Marc for nearly 30 years. Marc was an awesome guy. we had many jokes between us, and many conversations about family, camping, children, and Christmas lights. Marc really had me beat though regarding the lights. I will truly miss Marc.

I have known Marc for 30 years since we worked at Texas Children's Hospital. Marc cared for his family deeply. This was evident from many conversations we had over the 30 years. He was a great friend and worker. He loved supporting his team which was Texas A&M wholeheartedly.  One thing that caught my attention one morning years ago was Marc always sat at the back of the bus that took employees from the TCH parking garage to work. That morning when I boarded the bus I saw him  in the back so I  went back to visit with  him. I saw he was staring at his phone and inquired what he was looking at. He responded " I am reading scripture from a bible app." "This is how I start my day" , giving time to the Lord" . It has inspired me to try to read scripture in the morning also when it is quiet on the bus...Marc you will be missed and not forgotten...I enjoyed our conversations over the years. Rest in peace dear friend.......God bless you and your family.....

I first met Marc when I performed contract work for Texas Children’s hospital in the early 1990’s and he was assigned to “show me the ropes” around the relatively small campus of that era. When I joined as a full time employee, Marc and I were in the same service group in Biomedical Engineering and we were part of a truly great team. We formed a bond of mutual support that continued throughout my career.
Over the years I was part of many different teams but always relied on the Biomed AV group for support and collaboration. Before telemedicine was cool, we accomplished so many firsts and Marc was there in the vanguard to make sure the parts and pieces all fit together. 

Through those years, Marc approached his work with well-honed expertise, reliability, dedication, humor and a passion for doing the very best for his customers. He was a friend and a great colleague. Often, he was my wingman. 

To his family and close friends, I offer sincere condolences and prayers. You have lost a fine man in this life, but I have faith he is in a good place. He made Texas Children’s a better place for his real customers, our patients and their families.


No words can describe how sorry I am for your loss.  Marc will be extremely missed, especially his sense of humor!  May the cherished memories of Marc bring you peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.  Please accept my warmest condolences.

Marc was one of those of whom it can truly be said he made the world a better place, both for those of us who were lucky enough to know him & for many thousands who never met him, but benefited from his work. Sometimes if you are lucky enough, chance brings about someone special to your life, who makes you laugh a little harder, smile a little brighter and live a little better. Chance made us colleagues, but times we shared made us friends. My dear friend Marc, your life was a blessing your memory a treasure. I will miss you and your ever-smiling face. Thanks for being such a great coworker/friend you will always be remembered. May you REST in the PEACE you so richly deserve.

My deepest condolences to Marc's family.  I met Marc in 2018 when I began working at TCH.  I will call him to come fix a TV or game in a patient room.   Once when he came up I notice his Texas A&M lanyard around his neck, that was the beginning of many conversation.  Marc was ALWAYS nice and ray of sunshine.  LOL Marc educated  me on the history of A&M.  I will truly miss him.  I will keep you all (the family) in my prayers.

Marc search for purpose became a found treasure when he joined the Biomedical Engineering Department at TCH.  He was at the very beginning of his technical career and I assigned him to handle TV and audiovisual (AV) projections problems. A job no one really wanted - except for Marc.. As he was able to make children and their parents happier once their TV was working again, and TCH  clinical staff productive once he showed them how to operate the projector, screen and laser pointer for the millions time. Everyone knew that it is so much easier to call Marc than try to operate these on their own. It was so EASY to ask Marc to  come and help them. He always did it  did with a smile. A great start for technical career  that at its center is "Make it work and bring a smile."
We will miss you ,Marc but not forget you. You left a true model of servicing people as stewardship dedicated for people around you.

The first time I really spent time with Marc, was while my mom and him were still dating. He wanted to make sure I had the best 20th birthday. He took us to my favorite restaurant and then let me go shopping, he quickly learned that I loved beanies and plaid shirts at the time and searched for the perfect gift and gave it to me at the end of the night.  He loved me like a daughter from the very beginning. 

I will also never forget the weeks leading up to my wedding, we spent many long nights in the garage as he helped me have the perfect DIY fairytale every girl wishes for. The day of he wanted to be my escort to the ceremony and I will never forget the conversation we had all the way there, and I'm so glad we shared a dance. After that if he was in the truck and our song came on he would just simply send me a picture of the radio and "I love you more" 


I offer the my sincerest condolences to all of Marc's love ones!  Marc and I were co-workers at TCH when he started in or about the year 1990/1991.  He was a great co-worker, very tolerant of testing/trying  work conditions when they arose.  He was very proud and supportive of his Aggie experiences, loved to tell a good joke and hear one as well.  When he showed pictures especially of his new family experiences and events he beamed with pride!  Family, stay strong while you mentally process this life experience.
