Leon (Slim) Wilson, of Pasadena, passed away October 19, 2017. He was born in Lexington, Alabama on January 27, 1925 to Walter Wilson and Lola Walker. He was married to Melody Wilson for 40 years.
Leon worked for Powell Electrical MFG Co. for 58 years. He had a passion for music. Back in the 50’s Leon was a guitarist for his band called Slim Wilson and the Dixie Drifters. He also played on the Lousiana Hayride. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden.
He is preceded in death by parents, Walter Wilson and Lola Walker; sister, Virginia Hammond.
He is survived by wife, Melody Wilson and son, Dustin Wilson.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Forest Park East Cemetery 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
