Born in Washington DC, moved to Texas very young age to Dallas, by High School they relocated to Houston where he lived most of his life. Most recently lived many years in League City with wife Janis Lynn Jordan. Other family members in the area: son: Mark & Angela Webster, Jeanne & Arte Roesler, James Mayeaux, Bonnie & John Mayeaux, Jerry Mayeaux, Out of state Jordan relatives: Raines & Sally Jordan (Georgia), Ben Jordan & Family, Frank & Pam Jordan, niece: Jessica Nettles & her brother Jordan. In Houston: Grandchildren: Joseph, Markus, Brandon, Kenny. Great-Granddaughter: Adalynn. He loved marrying into a big family and all the activities. He attended Bellaire High School, Houston TX. He was very motivated, active in many areas of life.
Also an Entrepreneur - never worked for anyone else had 3 successful businesses starting with Blue Water Diving School when he came out of the Navy.....and longstanding JORDAN LIMOUSINES, still a strong and viable business featuring vintage vehicles for transportation for special occasions.
Joseph is preceded in death by: his parents. Mother: Rosalie Campbell Jordan and Father John Harris Jordan. His sisters: Carole Jordan and Randee Nettles, and brother: Skipper Jordan.
He was very proud of his Military Service - serving in Vietnam. Prior and in preparation for his service he studied Far Eastern Area Studies at Defense Language Institute. A former Senior Analyst at NSA (National Security Agency). Joseph has had many roles in the limousine/transportation industry in Houston. Former President of the Limousine Association of Houston, Editor at Limoinsider Report. Joseph traveled worldwide in early to midlife and he and wife Jan continued to travel worldwide. He will be greatly missed by his many family members, and many friends and business associates.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A committal service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A reception will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
