Glenda Gaile Cook, age 82, of Montgomery, Texas passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2018. Glenda was born July 17, 1935 in Wynniewood, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her first husband Billy Cook, and her second husband Boyd Hathcock. Glenda leaves behind a family that loves her very much. A son Charleton Cook and a daughter Terri Cook Burton, and dog Lizzie; grandchildren Morgan Burton Honeycutt and her husband, Eric; Adrienne Burton Davis and her husband, Dustin; David Cook and Donnie Cook. She also leaves behind great grandchildren: Kylee, Alyssa, Levi, Gunner, Mackenzie, and Ellie. Glenda is survived by her sister Peggy and other family members. Throughout her life Glenda was a fun loving wonderfully spirited woman. She played (scratch) golf, kicked up her feet in dancing, played a mean game of poker, had a penchant for a good glass of merlot and loved listening to her collection of old records. Glenda Cook will be forever loved and missed by many friends and family whom have crossed paths with this beautiful unique woman. A memorial will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery Chapel on Sunday March 11th at 3pm and a celebration of her life will be at the April Sound Country Club on March 3rd from 5-7pm in the Waterside Room.
