Gary Lane Wade

A service celebrating his life will be held at 3:30pm on Saturday, December 7th, 2013. Visitation will begin at 2:30pm. The services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Gary was born on June 24, 1954 in Texas City, Texas to Jimmy and JoAnn Wade. He graduated from Texas City High School in 1972. On November 11, 1977 he married Carol Ann Sullivan and they were blessed with 5 children: Kelley Lane, Casey Travis, John Thomas, Merrishka Grace, and Briana Kay.

Gary was a member of the Pipefitters Local 211 and was employed by Schaffer Mechanical, Inc. for over 30 years. He was an avid saltwater fisherman and went as often as he could with his best friend, Larry Matlock.

Gary was a wonderful Christian man who enjoyed reading his Bible and spending time with his family, especially his children.

Gary is survived by his wife, Carol and children, Casey, John and wife Taylor, Merrishka and Briana. He is also survived by his brothers, David and wife Paula Wade, Tommy and wife Stacy Wade and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Kelley.
