Christine Violet Smith, 76, of Houston, Texas passed away September 23, 2019. She was born on February 11, 1943 to Mary Blanch (White) Hinote and James Wesley Hinote. She was married to Rick Napierkowski for several years and then to Kenneth Ray Smith (Smitty) for over 20 years. She had a career as a home health provider. She was preceded in death by Rick Napierkowski, Kenneth Smith, her brothers Buddy and Donald, and her sister Doris.
She is survived by her children Richard, Billy, Robert, and Simona, her three sisters Patricia, Carolynn, and Linda, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild on the way.
Christine was a kind hearted and generous woman and would give you the shirt off your back if you needed it. She loved little trinkets, knick knacks, collecting porcelain dolls, jewelry, perfume, and sharing food. She had an infectious laugh and her grandchildren can remember her saying, “Give me some sugar!” (a kiss) in her thick Texan accent as well as eating lemons from the lemon tree in her backyard. She will be missed.
Visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home in Webster, Texas from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. and interment in Forest Park East Cemetery.
