Robert E. Reinwart

Loving, devoted husband of 59 years to Bonnie Reinwart (nee Shadwick).

Loving father of Theresa (Stack, Kannenberg), Catherine (David) Bouchein, Robert Reinwart, Jr., Richard (Francine) Reinwart, Thomas (Kathleen) Reinwart and Timothy Reinwart.

Loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Albert & Margaret (Egan) Reinwart; sisters, Margaret (G’Sell) and Marion (Hauser); brother, William Reinwart and granddaughter Amanda Reinwart. He is survived by his oldest brother, Albert Reinwart, Jr.

Bob is survived by his brother-in-law, Ron (Rosie) Shadwick and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be missed and was loved by all who knew him.

Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946.

At Bob’s request, his body was donated to St. Louis University for the advancement of science. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will take place Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Friendship Village of Sunset Hills (12563 Village Circle Drive, 63127) in the Grand Ballroom from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
