Nancy J. Jenkins, age 63, of Canton, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Nancy was born in Newton, NC on January 25, 1961, to the late Jerry and Donna James. She loved SHOPPING, decorating her house, crafting, playing solitaire, going to the lake, but most of all, Nancy loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets Molly Grace and Ninja.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Mike; siblings, Darrell James, Johnny James (Pam), Donna Surrett (Darrell) and Keith James; sisters-in-law, Lisa McClure (Larry), Meredith Jones (George) and Patsy Mintz (Charles); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Nathan Ashe officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
