Kathy Dianne Cagle

Waynesville-Kathy Dianne Gibson Cagle, 65 passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Kathy was born in Haywood County on January 18, 1956, to the late Hobert and Cleo Bradley Gibson. She enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Gibson; and brother-in-law, Jim Messer.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Alvin Eugene "Gene" Cagle; daughters, Lisa Rogers Reeves and Amie Rogers; son, Jesse Cagle (Jessica); stepson, Travis Cagle (Jamie); 13 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Thomasine Mitchell (David); and brother, Stanley Gibson (Diane).

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 28, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Jerry Nelson officiating. Entombment will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
