Maggie Valley-Donald "Donny" Richard Moore Jr., age 72, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Donny was born on November 17, 1949 in Daytona, FL, to the late Donald Sr. and Betty Sawyer Moore. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Donny was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Martin Moore.
Donny is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Darla Reece Moore; daughters, Janet Burns (Scott), Rebecca Thomason (Brandon), and Ann Moore; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Moore and sister, Anita Painter (Terry); and stepmother, Marjorie Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 10, at Green Hill Cemetery. In honoring Donny's wishes the visitation will be private.
