Virginia Ann Laurin

Born October 31, 1933 in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Mabel (King) Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Laurin; siblings, James “Monk” Roberts, Barbara Beasley, Frances Davis, Calvin Roberts, Dallas Roberts and a step-son, Richard Palsa.

Virginia retired as a clerk-typist from the former Wilson Trucking Company and attended West Waynesboro Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Fuller and husband Dennis; grandson, Trey Morris; sister, Emma Houghton; step-daughters, Ruth Shifflett, Tricia Frazier, Sharon Muller, Cathy Scott and husband Larry; step-sons, Robert Laurin, Charles E. Laurin, Larry Schwartz, Skipp Schwarts, Thomas Laurin, Steven Laurin, Michael Laurin; sister-in-law, Diane Roberts, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and great step-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at West Waynesboro Church of Christ, 2212 Cortland St., Waynesboro with Chad Grondin officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Trey Morris, Brian Frazier, Larry Scott, Keith Rea, Michael Laurin and Herbert Dickenson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St. Waynesboro.
