Patrick Allen Schaendorf, age 52, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home in Wayland. Patrick enjoyed all things outdoors, including hunting and fishing and just being outside in nature. Patrick loved riding his Harley and cruising near and far. He also loved his dogs, Levi and Wyatt, and his cat, Fuzzy. Most importantly, he loved his family and cherished time spent with them. He will be deeply missed.
Patrick leaves behind his parents Mike and Pauline Schaendorf; siblings John, Jack, Michael (Krista); nieces and nephews Erin, Ryan, Bethani, Nate, Cody, Michael, Matthew, Travis; aunts and uncles Len and Connie Schoendorf, Virginia and Ken Berryhill, Norma Oakley; and many extended family and friends. Patrick is preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard and Lura Schaendorf, and Bernice Hayes; and cousin, Kimmy Robertson.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Leighton Church, 4180 2nd St., Caledonia, MI 49316 (on the corner of 2nd Street and 142nd Avenue). In memory of Patrick and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or a charity of one’s choosing.
