1945 – 2012
Belgrade - Roger Joseph Pelletier, 66, of North Belgrade, died Friday, March 2nd, 2012 at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Fort Kent on November 11th 1945, the son of Albert and Hattie (Voisine) Pelletier. Educated in the Waterville schools graduating in 1966, Roger was a fireman for over 37 years in the City of Waterville for 10 years and the Town of Belgrade for 27 years. He loved his family very much, especially his two grandchildren who he was very proud of. His love for fishing lead him to opening Nicki’s Tackle and custom tying his own hooks.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Robert Pelletier.
Surviving are his wife Theresa (King) Pelletier; three daughters, Karen Hachey and her husband, Ryan of Winslow, Jennifer Pelletier of Belgrade and Nicole Corbin and her husband, Troy of Belgrade; and two special grandchildren, Jordan Hachey and Breanna Corbin. Visiting hours will be held 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 7th at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm Street, Waterville. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, March 8th at Notre Dame, Silver Street, Waterville.
