Casie Lynn Parkins

Casie Lynn Parkins passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022. Casie was born on January 6, 1976 to Tom and Patty Parkins in Des Moines, Iowa. Casie is survived by her parents, Patty and Sam Iogha and Judy Parkins, her siblings Kelly Grunhovd (Andy), Lisa Connor, and Marc Fitzgibbon, Grandmother Shirley Parkins, Cousins Patrick Barber (Kristin) and Allie Barber (Josh), and many nieces and nephews. Casie is preceded in death by her Father Tom Parkins and Aunt Sue Barber.

There will be an informal gathering celebrating Casie’s life on Sunday August 7, 2022 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the South Shelter at the City Park in Winterset, Iowa. Lunch will be served. For those wishing to do so donations in memory of Casie can be given to Calvary Women’s Services in Washington, DC at Calvaryservices.org. Casie’s humor and contagious laugh will be greatly missed.
