Valerie Cintolo Haxton

Born in Southington, CT she was the daughter of the late Robert Michael and Nancé Jeanne ( Cobb ) Cintolo.

Valerie is survived by her loving children, Corey E. Haxton and her partner Shawn Souza of West Warwick, Drew R. Haxton and his partner Lexi-Amber Hassell of Barrington, her siblings Vincent E. Cintolo of Warwick, Vivian E. Pelletier and her husband Douglas of Tiverton, Veronica E. Lataille and her husband Michael of Warwick. In addition she leaves behind her former husband Kevin J. Haxton of Richmond, her granddogs Miller, Bailey, Katie and Honeybee; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Victor E. Cintolo.

Valerie worked for Ross-Simons Jewelers for 30 years as an accounting manager. She was an avid crafter, spending many years creating Halloween costumes and Christmas gifts. She enjoyed summer trips up north, long Saturday afternoon drives, and Friday night dinners with her children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 5, 2024 at 10:00 am in St. Rita's Church, 722 Oakland Beach Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick.
