Patricia Falvey O’Hara, 72, of East Greenwich, RI passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was the devoted wife of James L. O’Hara for nearly 50 years. She was the daughter of the late James F. and Joanne (Collins) Falvey.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Erin, Kaitlin and Meghan; her sons-in-law, Andrew and Oliver; and her granddaughters, Riley and Quinn, her pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister Karen (Falvey) Kelley and many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Pat was a life-long supporter of education and a teacher at West Warwick High School for 30 years. There, she met some of her closest friends and had some of her biggest laughs. She served as the Chairman of the Board of Falvey Linen Supply, a business started by her grandfather in 1929. Pat guided the growth of the business with integrity and love. She brought kindness and humor to everything she did. Pat never missed a birthday, anniversary, graduation or an opportunity to celebrate others’ success. She took pride in finding the perfect card and gift. She was devoted to her family, following her three daughters through any activity they pursued with love, enthusiasm and unwavering support. The O’Hara’s cherished summer days on Sand Hill Cove in Narragansett and winter escapes to Naples, FL together. She was a loyal football fan, especially of Tom Brady. Above all, she was steadfast in her Catholic faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 25th at 11am at St. Francis de Sales, 381 School St, North Kingstown. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery which is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and 2nd Street, East Greenwich. At Pat’s request, a wake has been respectfully omitted.
