Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late William F. and Winifred M. (Furman) McDonough.
She leaves behind her three children, Steven W. McLaughlin, Debra A. Baker, and Donna L. McLaughlin. She also leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William, John, Joseph and James McDonough, Helen Doherty, Mary Knuettel, Anna Stanley and Theresa Judge.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th from 9:00-10:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org/donate
