Rosalie Oliver

Born in Providence, RI a daughter of the late Angelo and Anna (Perroni) Chellel she was a longtime resident of Warren before relocating to New Bedford.

She was a hairdresser for many years before her retirement. Skilled at many crafts, she was especially good with ceramics. Rosalie most enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandson.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Michelle Raposo and her husband Marcelino, Jr. of North Dartmouth; two sons, Michael A. Oliver, Jr. of Newport and Edward Rene III and his wife Melanie of East Freetown; one brother, Richard Chellel and his wife Nancy; five grandchildren, Marcelino Raposo III, Mackenzie Soares, Travis Raposo, Owen Rene and Kennedy Rene; and one great grandson, Hayden Leandre.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 9:00 am from the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial is in North Burial Ground, Bristol. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours are Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
