Paul J. Sheehan Jr.

Sheehan, Paul J., Jr. of Barrington, RI, age 83, passed away peacefully Monday, October 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Wendy (Whitehead) Sheehan to whom he was married 50 years.

Born in Medford, MA he was a son of the late Paul J., Sr. and Florence J. (Crowley) Sheehan.

A graduate of Saint Columbkille’s School in Brighton, MA he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He was a proud US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sheehan was a business owner and pharmacist on Martha’s Vineyard for 25 years and retired from Fallon Healthcare Systems in 2004.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Thomas Sheehan and his wife Julie of Saratoga Springs, NY; two daughters, Tracey Orchard and her husband Scott of Barrington, RI and Holly Sheehan and her husband Steve Niles of Portland, ME; two sisters, Mary McCrorey and Florence Sheehan; nine grandchildren, Katharine, William, Caroline, Paul III, Margaret, Elizabeth, Caleb, Liam and Daniel; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 10:30 AM in St. Luke’s Church, 108 Washington Rd., Barrington, RI. Private burial with Military Honors in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
