Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal, the son of the late Jose F. and Maria L. (Pereira) Andrade he was a longtime resident of Warren.
A graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1982 he worked in the food service industry for many years as a driver for a catering company and a dishwasher for Rod’s Grille and Uptown Food & Spirits. An enthusiastic fan of the Los Angeles Raiders he also enjoyed his early morning walks and a nice cold beer. He tried his luck calling in to radio shows and won a very many tickets to events and concerts.
Manuel is survived by one sister, Anne Parker of Warren; three nephews, Steven Parker and his husband Scott Griffin; Benjamin Silva and Kayden Silva; two nieces, Ashley Deroy and her husband Brandon and Jessica Parker; two great nephews, Brady and Mason Deroy and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the brother of the late Maria "Diane" Silva.
Private arrangements are in the care of the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, Warren. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, suite 200, Providence, RI 02908.
