So sorry for your loss. We had no idea he had passed until today. Although we only spoke a dozen times or so, I could tell he was a great man because he reminded me of my father. We are so sorry for your loss.

Made Vic's glasses for many years. He told me about hunting and camping in the UP and Canada with his son. He looked forward to deer season every year. He will be missed.  Steve

Vic will be missed at St. Malachy - we could always count on seeing his face at 9:30 mass.  Vic is the reason I go to church - going with him and his family as a child will be a memory I will always keep in my heart.  Love you Vic - Rest in Peace.

Victor loved coming to our Luau's every year.  He will be missed greatly.

Now all 3 of us can have a green beer...I'll just have to wait a little to do it in person.  Miss you!

Vic loved life and family.  He had a way of finding the good in any circumstance no matter the hand dealt to him.  He was a graduate from the old school of friendship and common sense.
Having spent many hours in a small fishing boat catching nothing, Vic was always enthused about the potential for what tomorrow could bring.  Family and friends, near and far, were the pillars  on which he built his life's foundation.
Even after an atrocious day of fishing , Vic could make the entire day a success with  leisurely dinning recounting 'the ones that got away' while enjoying his favorite 'adult beverage' which was Jack Daniels on the rocks.
Vic's story of how he developed his unique voice was attributed to his extreme yelling when he was selling newspaper at the old Briggs Stadium on Trumbel avenue in Detroit.
Vic, the alumni from Udylite will long remember you for your mellow approach to life and unbending sense of purpose on what life was really all about.


 

  


My wife Bonnie, and I wish to express our condolences in the 
loss of Vic.  He was a good friend and hunting buddy and we
spent a number of years hunting together in the UP of Mich.
He also enjoyed fishing on the lake we have a home on.  We new
when he and his fishing buddy, Larry, was enjoying their venture
on the lake when we saw the orange ball cap on a fisherman on
the lake.  Will always have great memories of his company.

It won’t be the same getting chocolate bunnies without you. They were always Papa Vic’s favorite. I’m thankful to have these memories and photos of you enjoying your huge bunnies! It was always fun being so silly with you, Papa. We love you so much. 

Papa Vic is so loved by everyone he’s able to meet. One of my favorite memories is the special bond he has with our dog, Winston. If we said his name he would perk right up. He’d never willingly get in the car, but would be the first one to jump in if we said we were going to Papa’s. He touched so many people and was loved by so many, but he loved back even harder. 

My deepest condolences to the whole family.
Uncle Vic was always my favorite Uncle.  I hold so many fond memories from my childhood, of the times I got to spend with the family; my cousin Michelle.  
May he Rest In Peace.
