Todd Patrick Harris

Todd Patrick Harris, age 55, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Todd was born on February 9, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of the late Patrick and the late Joanne Harris.

Todd was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, graduating from Lake Shore High School in 1988 where he played football, baseball, and was on the bowling team. He carried his competitive spirit and zest for life well beyond those years. Todd worked as a pyrometer electrician at Ford Motor Company for nearly 28 years, a testament to his dedication and strong work ethic. He loved all things outdoors— deer hunting with a bow or rifle in Port Austin, sucker fishing in cold Michigan waters, and even ice fishing in winter. Todd and his girls loved going on nature walks together, star gazing together, telling stories around a bonfire to each other & he especially loved when his daughters went hunting with him. He had the biggest green thumb and took pride in growing trees to plant on the family property up north, a quiet haven that reflected his peaceful spirit. Movies were a huge part of Todd’s life—especially when shared with his daughters. He cherished those evenings, whether at the theater, a drive-in, or on the couch. He loved classic rock blasting from the radio, a good BBQ (especially steak & ribs), and always looked forward to treating his daughters to steak & ribs whenever he could. Todd was a true Lions fan—faithful no matter the season. He loved a little thrill, whether playing the 3-digit lotto or trying his luck at the casino. He was spiritual in a quiet, personal way, finding meaning in life’s small, beautiful moments. But more than anything, Todd loved being a dad. He lived to make his daughters smile and laugh, especially when they needed it most. He took them to Cedar Point often, out shopping, and made everyday memories feel like adventures. His love was constant, warm, and full of life.

Todd’s legacy lives on in the trees he planted, the laughs he inspired, the lessons he passed down, and the deep love he gave so freely.

Todd is survived by his beloved daughters Brooklyn and Danielle Harris, and their mother Rebecca Harris. He is the dear brother of Brian (Susan) Harris, Kevin (Alicia Rinaldi) Harris, and Kelly (Scott) Guzik. Treasured uncle of Jaylin Harris, Leon Brauer, and Aidan Harris. He is also survived by his granddogBailey, his many cousins, extended family, and close friends that always became family.

A visitation for Todd will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan 48088. An instate will occur Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, Michigan 48088.
