Timothy Roy Buckler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Roy Buckler, who left this world peacefully on September 26, 2024, at the age of 81. Born to Katherine (Moriarty) and Robert Buckler on December 26, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, Timothy grew up in a close-knit family alongside his late brother, Terry.

On June 27, 1964, Timothy married the love of his life, Carol Buckler, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey that spanned six decades. Together, they built a loving family, raising three wonderful children: Steven (Julianne), Jeffrey (Dorothy), and Jennifer Rewers (Jerry). His legacy of love and devotion continues through his grandchildren, as Timothy was a proud and beloved grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 10, and great-great-grandfather of 1.

A lifelong lover of sports, especially hockey, Timothy could often be found cheering on his favorite teams or discussing the latest game with family and friends. He was a dedicated and loyal husband, father, uncle, and grandfather, and his presence was a source of strength and comfort to all who knew him.

Timothy was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Robert, and his brother Terry. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and wisdom.

His love and memory will live on in the hearts of those who cherished him. May he rest in peace.
