Thomas Conrad Oleksinski

Oleksinski, Thomas C. passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Geraldine Oleksinski for 64 wonderful years. Loving father of Thomas Oleksinski and Jennifer (Mark) Idema. Cherished grandfather of Alyssa Oleksinski, Sydni Oleksinski, Chase Idema, and Alexa Idema. Dear brother of James (the late Patricia), Gerald (Vickie), Carrie (Vasilios), and the late Marsha. He leaves behind many other loving family members and friends.

Thomas was born on March 4, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the cherished son of Edward and Julie Oleksinski. On April 28, 1962, he married the love of his life, Geri, and together they shared a beautiful and fulfilling life, raising a family and building memories that will last forever.

Thomas was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was an avid sailor, and his greatest pride was his boat, “Invictus,” with which he spent countless hours exploring the Great Lakes. His love for the water and adventure was a defining part of his character.

In addition to his passion for sailing, Thomas was an enthusiastic golfer. He also had a sharp entrepreneurial spirit and owned and operated a Coney Island in Warren, Michigan for 32 years, where he built a reputation as a hardworking and dedicated business owner. His commitment to the community and his staff created lasting relationships and memories. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

A Funeral Mass will be held in honor of Thomas Conrad Oleksinski on April 1, 2025, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, located at 31555 Hoover Road, Warren, MI 48093. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the Instate at 9:00 AM, followed by the Mass at 9:30 AM.
