Terence "Terry" Bilovus, age 76, of Sterling Heights, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born on October 18, 1947, in Detroit to his late parents Peter and Elizabeth "Gwen" Bilovus.
Terry’s passion for architecture led him to graduate from Lawrence Technological University with a bachelor’s degree. He dedicated his career to creating spaces that brought joy and functionality to his clients, ultimately owning his own business. His love for design extended beyond his professional life, as he relished working on home projects for himself and his children.
Terry was married to the love of his life, Ruth, for 54 wonderful years. Their love story began at the tender age of 15, blossoming into a partnership filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support. Together, they enjoyed countless days boating on Lake St. Clair, cherishing moments spent with family and friends.
An avid golfer and crossword puzzle enthusiast, Terry found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often seen circling words in red pen each day. His infectious spirit, kindness, and love for life touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Terry was the beloved husband of Ruth. Loving father of Todd (Jamie) Bilovus and Tara (Jason) Yenglin. Adored grandfather of Scott Bilovus, Kate Bilovus, Max Perkins, Ella Perkins and Delilah and Hank the grand dogs. Dear brother of Debbie Misner and brother-in-law of Beth Pryor. Cherished uncle of Sarah, Renae, Andrew, and Melissa. Terry also leaves behind his faithful companion, Lilly.
