Louie "Ron" Ronald Varney, age 74, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Ron was born on October 29, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Robert and Irene Varney.
Ron was a second generation race car driver, being so passionate about it he inspired two more generations to become drivers as well.
Ron is the beloved husband of 22 years to Cindy Varney. The loving father of Robert Varney and Ron (Sandy) Varney Jr., the cherished grandfather of Brandon Varney and Evan Varney. Dear brother of Larry (Cindy) Varney and Barbara Plante. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A visitation for Ron will be held Monday, May 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 3:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 PM, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan 48088.
