Renee Emily Brown

Renee Emily Brown (nee: Tepper), age 50, died Saturday, May 20, 2017. Renee was born January 26, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Richard Tepper and the late Theresa (nee: Witkowski) Tepper.Renee was raised primarily in the Detroit and Hamtramck area. Following her schooling, Renee was employed her entire life in retail,...first working at DOTS clothing, and eventually for the Kroger Grocery chain. Renee worked at the 18 mile and Dequindre store as a cashier for more than 15 years.When Renee was not working she loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Renee was truly the center and life of the party. She was the first out on the dance floor and the last to leave the party. Renee had a passion for music, dancing, and hanging around the bon-fire sharing jokes. She loved the beach and the heat of the sun. Renee would try to catch the sunrise and witness the sun set on any given day.Additionally, Renee had a quiet side. She was a person who enjoyed traveling up north, as well as other locations, all the while taking in the history of the different places she visited. She held a soft spot in her heart for all animals, especially wolves. She loved her cats and also any stray she would see, however wolves truly piqued her interest and Renee felt they should always be protected.Renee was the cherished wife of Ron and was the loving mother of Ashlee (Kyle) Kennedy, and David Brown. She was the dear sister of Bryan (Ann) Tepper, Rick Tepper, and the late David Tepper. Renee is further survived by her sister in-law Janet Tepper, and many loving family members and friends. A Memorial Visitation for Renee will be held Thursday, May 25th from 2:30-9:00 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Memorial Mass Friday, May 26, 2017 9:30 am at St, Rene Goupil Catholic Church, 35955 Ryan Rd., Sterling Heights. The family will reeceive friends at church on Friday after 9:00 am.
