Jerry Newberry

Jerry had an accomplished career working in the shipping and receiving department of Acar Broach & Machine in Warren. When he wasn’t at work, Jerry could be found out on the open road. He loved riding his Harley Davidson, but also driving his first car he got when he was 16. He himself restored his 1951 Chevrolet 4 Door Deluxe that he still owns today. Keeping with the Chevy theme, Jerry’s favorite song was Like a Rock.

Above all, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren. They brought his the greatest joys in his life…along with eating his daughter in laws food. He also had a great love for his many dogs, especially Fawnie. If Jerry could give his family one takeaway, it would be to enjoy life every day.

Jerry is the beloved husband of Robin for 30 years. Dear father of Roger, Lisa Newberry, Matthew Kuskowski, Ryan (Teresa) Kuskowski and Eric (Kathleen) Kuskowski. Proud papa of Justin (Nicole), Jonathan, Melissa, Zachary, Brandon, Nathan and Lily (baby girl). Loving brother of Joyce Faye (Bobby Cooper), Barbara Gayle Smith, Rodney (Kristy) Laity, Kent Laity, Patrice Laity, Denise (Rick) Carter, Kim (Thomas) Baldwin and Bradley (Janice) Laity. He was preceded in death by his siblings Thelma Jean Walker, Walter Barry Laity and Diana Sue Laity. His visitation is Sunday, August 21st at 1pm until the time of a Funeral Service 5pm at D.S. Temrowski & Sons, 30009 Hoover Road in Warren.
