Gregg Albert Greschak, of Warren, MI, passed away surrounded by his family on September 7. Gregg worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court for over 30 years. He was incredibly creative, using his talents for woodworking, painting, and drawing. Gregg enjoyed gardening to create a beautiful backyard retreat with his beloved wife, Karen, each year. He loved to laugh and shared “dad jokes” any chance he got. When with his grandchildren, you could often find him down on the floor enthralled with their chosen activity. Most of all, Gregg loved his family with his whole heart.
Gregg was a genuinely selfless person, doing anything he could to help others, from volunteering at the school musicals and grandkids’ class parties to fixing or building anything that was asked of him. He performed his last act of extreme generosity through the gift of organ donation. He is truly a hero to his family.
Gregg is survived by his dear wife, Karen, and his children Elizabeth (Brandon) Kosal, Matthew (Stephanie) Greschak, and Becky (Brandon) Malaski. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren Parker & Kinley Malaski and Louie & Stella Kosal, brothers Michael (Michelle), Tim (Pam), David (Kathy), and Ken (Dana), brothers-in-law Brad (Monica) TenHopen, David (Kim) TenHopen, father/mother-in-law Irwin and Rose TenHopen, and many cherished nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cyndy, parents, Albert & Geraldine, and brother, Gary.
Visitation for Gregg will be held on Sunday, September 11th from 2-8pm with a 6pm Funeral Service at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.
