Frederick was born August 9. 1962 in Detroit, MI. He leaves behind his loving wife Leisa Hicks; Children; Frederick, Emmanuel, Latoya, Myesha, Malaysia and Maya; Stepchildren, Shane, Tara and Angela; 16 grandchildren; Sister, Alean Wright; two nieces, 1 great nephew, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Raphael Simpkins and his mother Lela Mae Hicks.
Frederick will be remembered as such a gentle person with a million dollar smile and infectious laugh. He will be forever loved and missed.
Visitation will be held on June 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held on June 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, Michigan.
