Bonnie V. Faulkner, age 82 of Warren, died Monday, July 30, 2007 at St. John River District Hospital in East China, Michigan. Bonnie was born April 19, 1925 in Newport, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Eli and the late Eusesia Smith. Bonnie was raised in Tennessee and came to Michigan in 1954. She worked for over 25 years at Apollo Plating as a chrome-plating specialist before her retirement. Always a very resourceful woman, Bonnie worked and visited many places without ever driving a vehicle herself. When Bonnie was not working she cherished her family time or visiting casinos. She loved her garden, flowers, and quilting. Her grandchildren remember their grandmothers great cooking and her chicken dumplings. She also enjoyed camping with her dear friend George. Bonnies survivors include her dearest daughter Cherrie (Red) Mason and companion George Haddock. She is the loving grandmother of Michael Phillips, Tanya (Dana) Parlin, Derek (Monica) Mason, and Krystal (Joe) Gambino. Great-grandmother of Samantha, Brittney, Mathew, Alisha, Dylan, Meriah, Derek Jr., Nevaeh, and Makayla. Beloved sister of Buena Denton, Buela Davis, and Baxter Smith. Visitation for Mrs. Faulkner will be held Wednesday, from 2-9 pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home 30009 Hoover Rd at Common, (12 Mile). Funeral Services will be held in Lorretto Tennessee by Lorretto Memorial Chapel on August 4th. Please share memories of Bonnie at her guest book.
