Andrew was born on August 17, 1953 in Hamtramck, Michigan to his parents Luigi and Anna Meli.
He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Lynne Meli, children Jennifer Stemple, James (Liz) Meli, Christina Meli, Michelle (Teddy) Piekarski, grandchildren Aubrey, Carmen, Kai, Lily, Amelia and one on the way, Sophia, who is due May 10, siblings Maria, Joe (Laura), Sam (Sheryl), Louis (Joanne), Raymond, David (Donna). Andrew is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, son Andrew Jr., brothers Benedict and Robert.
Friends may visit the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 32000 Schoenherr Road, Warren, MI 48088 on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. until the funeral service at 4:00 P.M. with visitation continuing afterward until 8:00 P.M.
