Nancy Wamer

Nancy Lee (Collins) Wamer of Oregon, Ohio passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013. She was born March 30, 1934 in Toledo to Wilbur and Bernice Collins. Nancy is reunited with her husband of 55 years James Wamer, who preceded her in death in 2007. Nancy was a wonderful, caring, and loving Wife, Mother, “Mamas,” and Greats. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing cards. Nancy was a homemaker who took great pride in raising her children.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane Ann (Ron) Miller, Tina (Fred) Almaguer, and Jamie (Kevin) Boris; son, James “Doc” (Carolann) Wamer Jr.; grandchildren, Becky (Chip) Truman, Christopher (January) Almaguer, Kerri (Chad) Wiley, Rena (Jeremy) Decker, Katie Almaguer, Tamara (Shawn) Simms, Nick (Kelsey Green) Almaguer, Jacob Lopez, and Kali Davis; 15 great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Dave (Handrea) Fischer, Beth (Tom) Decker, and Julie Fischer; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Cookie (John) Berning, Jim (Joyce) McGuire, Kate Warns, Phyllis (Sam) Griner, Butch (Bev) Wamer, Lila Younkin, Dan (Carol) Wamer, Ike (Jo Anne) Wamer, Patty (Ron) Schinharl, Rex (Dorothy) Wamer, Jan Wamer, Geneva Wamer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Jane Meyer (Glenn) and Ann Fischer (Ray); grandson, Ronnie Miller, and several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, from 2-9pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
