James A Griffith Sr.

James A. Griffith Sr., 81, of Walbridge passed away May 13, 2014 at his residence. James was born on December 3, 1932 to Albert and Eva (Gonia) in Lake Twp. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a lifetime member of the Northwood V.F.W. Post #2984. He retired in 1982 after 30 years with Libbey Owens Ford. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Anna Mae (Bourquin) and his four sons: Jeffrey (Tina), David (Linda), Donald (Jan), and James Jr., Grandchildren: Megan (Zach) Dunn, Nicholas, Daniel, Lisa (Brody Donald), John, Jacob, Amelia, Great-Granddaughter: Gemma Dunn, Brother: Donald, Sisters: Dorothy Robertson, Ethel (William) Hughes, and Brother-in-Law Harold Robertson, and several nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Virginia Robertson, Brothers Jesse and Ned and Sister-In-Law Mary Ellen Griffith.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 2-8 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 419-666-3121 where funeral services will be Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in Lake Township Cemetery.
